Well Saturday was a success, well I think so anyways. Lots of good times were had during HP day. We sold SOOOOOOOOO MANY books. We got 1000 books (plus over 200 pre-orders) and we were down to 10 boxes in the back room still before I left at 3:30. I mean we have hundreds on the floor. Cherly says taht in two days they will probably be all gone. I read a little bit ont he bus today and I'm hooked... and exaused. I started at 7:30 today. My Hippogriff was a success. We hd tons of snacks and candy and the kids seem to have enjyed them selves. So yay. I went to go to the company thingy (Cheryl's having a BBQ, I didn;t want to go because I was tired and it's a little wierd. Christina practcally begged me to go. So I did, and it wasnt that bad. Fun almost. Christina was a little buzed and I'm pretty sure Sandra was a little wasted too.
I finished readiing the book last night... Two days is a rcord for me. But I did it. I laughed, I cried, I loved and I lost... and then cried some more. It rocked my fucking sox!
Already someone has said they thought the book was boring as they were reading it. It was a friend of Cheryl's. I can understand why you'd think it was boring. It was slower in comparison to the olast two books, there was not something uber life threating happening every 150 pages. But I thought the background info was very intresting. And you kow this will all mean something int he next book. CAN"T WAIT!!!!
Holy Weasley! They totally got their groove thing on! Was there any reason to bring back Fleur? There better be. Although in the end she was not as shallow as I thought she would be. Ron and Lavender. Really, why Lavender. And seriously what a coward, he should have just ended it. And when are Hermione and Ron gonna hook up. She finally said it out loud through Harry, but why didn;t they hook up! I wan it happen so bad. I thought she'd do it. But no. NOw Ginny, and Dean cool.... kbut back with Harry very cool. I didn't see it comming. But I liked it. It worked for me.
Malfoy is an ass and I was just started to trust Snape.. Then the FUCKING BASTARD killed Dumbledore!!! I didn't belived it at first and read a few pages more. Then went back and re-read it. And sxtill didn't believe it. It wasn't until Harry saw the body at the bottome of the tower that I believed it. and i am a sap and am the first to admit it....I cried. Then Harry told the others and I cried again. and then at the funeral I cried again. I didn't think it would be Dumbledore. I know she had to do it. But not Dumbledore. I HATE Snape. He can die a horrible death.
So much to say but I can't get it all out! It was so good!

You see... *hem hem*
Both Dumbledore and Snape are Legimdfkjnjsd (whatever, Mind readers). The problem with this scene is that we only see it from Harry's POV. That look that Dumbledore are Snape share in silence? C'mon. They HAVE to be saying something to each other. My guess is (and from the look of my f-list it's a very popular Theory) that Dumbledore knew he was dying. That stuff that he drank was like (as one of my friends put it) euthenasia.
The 'Severus...please' from Dumbledore was not a plea for him NOT to kill him, but TO kill him. And Snapes look of 'hated' was not for Dumbledore, but for himself. By Dumbledore making Snape kill him, he's stopped Draco from committing murder and he's secured Snape a tight place in the ranks of 'People Voldemort Loves'. I think Snape will die or at least get seriously injured in the next book while saving Harry in a heroic type way.
I just find it very odd and pointless that so much emphasis would be placed on the fact the Dumbledore TRUSTS Snape and that only he was to be sent for and not Madam Pomfrey only to have Snape kill him because he really is a DE. Dumbledore seems to know everything else that goes on around the castle and for him not to know that someone he deeply trusts is working for the other side just seems rather...dumb.
SOOOO yeah. That's my two knuts. :D
